Golf Professional
Joe is currently in his 19th year as Head Golf Professional at Burlington Golf Club. Prior to taking over at Burlington in 1993, he was the Head Golf Pro at Lake Bracken Country Club in Galesburg, IL.
Joe was the Assistant Pro at several courses including, Soangetaha Country Club (IL), Ocean Reef Club (FL), and Country Club of Orangeburg (SC). Joe played golf at University of South Carolina in Columbia.
Joe has been a member of the PGA for 26 years and was a two time Iowa Section PGA Horton Smith Award Winner in 1996 & 1997. Joe is also a very accomplished golfer winning the Iowa Section PGA Senior Player of the year in 2007 & 2008. In 1996, Joe was voted Iowa Golf Association Golf Professional of the year.
Joe resides in Burlington with his wife Sue. Joe and Sue have three children; Emily, Matt, & Ashley. |
